Our Fleet

At Learn to Fly NZ, our fleet currently includes three Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft – one of the most trusted and widely used training aircraft in the world.

OUR FLEET

Learn To Fly NZ

Because the Cessna 172 is used globally for pilot training, students who train with us can step into advanced training or flying opportunities almost anywhere in the world and immediately feel familiar and confident in the aircraft.

Two of our aircraft are configured for standard day VFR training, while our third features a modern glass cockpit, allowing students to transition into IFR training without needing to adjust to different aircraft handling characteristics.

The Cessna 172 is a four-seat, single-engine, high-wing aircraft first flown in 1955. More Cessna 172s have been built than any other aircraft in history, making it the most successful training aircraft ever produced – known worldwide for its reliability, stability, and ease of handling.

Our current C172N fleet includes:
ZK-JHC, ZK-ETA and ZK-MDR
